Kent Moore, Chairman
Kent’s background combines nearly 20 years of experience in senior management positions at oilfield service firms (Exeter Drilling, Caza Drilling) with five years of experience as an analyst and portfolio manager at two Denver-based mutual fund companies (Janus Capital, Marsico Capital). Kent currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Claymore TSW/Claymore Tax-Advantaged Balanced Fund, and is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Old Mutual Advisor Funds. He received a BS in Industrial Management from Purdue University in 1978. A native of Colorado, Kent is an accomplished competitive golfer and as a member of the Colorado Golf Hall of fame, is the only golfer in state history to win the Colorado Junior Amateur, Amateur, Mid-Amateur and Senior Amateur titles.

Brian Bierbach, President and CEO
Brian’s 26-year career in the energy industry includes leadership positions in every facet of the mid-stream market. Most recently, Brian served as President of Cinergy Corp., Cinergy Canada (2002-2005).  Prior to that, he was President of Bear Paw Energy and Crestone Energy Partners - Northern Border Partners (2000-2002). His earlier career includes a variety of Senior Vice President and management roles at Enron North America (1997-2000), Williams Companies – Williams Energy Trading (1994-1997), Washington Energy Resources (1991-1994), Dynegy (1990-1991), Apache Corporation (1987-1990) and Conoco (1981-1987). Brian received a BS in Civil Engineering from the University Arizona in 1981.

William Mathews, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Bill is 30-year veteran of the natural resources and energy industries. His experience includes business acquisitions and rationalization, midstream natural gas, jurisdictional pipelines and facilities, crude oil and natural gas liquids, marketing, exploration and production, and water resources. Bill served as Assistant General Counsel for Oneok Partners, LP, Northern Border Partners, Bear Paw Energy and Crestone Energy Ventures (2001-2006). He has also served as V.P. and General Counsel for Duke Energy Field Services. In addition to other private legal practice, Bill has previously practiced as a registered professional engineer. Bill received a BS in Civil and Environment Engineering from the University of Colorado in 1975 and a JD from the University of Denver in 1981.

Charles Varnell, Director of Finance
Charles has extensive financial and transactional experience in the areas of acquisition, development, operations and monetization.
Charles was a Financial Analyst in Corporate Finance with Patina Oil & Gas Corp – Noble Energy, Inc. (2003-2005). Prior to that, was Director of Corporate Development at Idacorp Energy (2002-2003) and Manager of the Natural Gas Gathering and Processing Group for Northern Border Partners (2000-2002). He began his career with Enron Corporation, serving as Associate for Rocky Mountain Gas Assets (1999-2000) and Associate for the Research Group/Risk Analytics (1997-1999). Charles received a BA in History and Managerial Studies from Rice University in 1997 and a Masters of Business Administration with scholarship honors from the Rice’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management in 1999.

Steve Stutzman, Vice President Business Development
Steve has over 20 years experience in the natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGL) industries. He combines a detailed knowledge of natural gas pipelines, gathering/processing and the NGL industry with broad experience in business development, trading and marketing.
As Owner and Founder, Steve has recently operated Stutzman Energy (2001-2006). Prior to that, he was Director of Natural Gas Trading and Marketing at Coast Energy Group (1999-2001).  Steve worked for Western Gas Resources as Manager Rocky Mountain Region (1998-1999), Manager National Marketing (1996-1998) and National Account Representative (1996).
He worked for Koch Gas Resources as Manager Gas Marketing (1993-1996) and for Koch Hydrocarbon Company as Manager Gas Supply/Profit Center Leader (1992-1993), Senior Sales Representative (1989-1991), Sales Representative (1987-1989) and Analyst (1986-1987). Steve earned a BA in Marketing from Wichita State University in 1985.

Kevin Legg, Vice President Marketing
Kevin has over 20 years natural gas industry experience in engineering, project management, trading and marketing. He has experience with both large and small organizations in numerous geographical locations. Before joining Foothills, Kevin was a Managing Partner with Stellar Energy Group (2005-2006), Vice President Gas Marketing with Devlar Energy Marketing (2005) and a Contracts Administrator for Red Cedar Gathering (2004-2005).  Before that, he was a Senior Marketing Representative at ePrime (2001-2003) and Senior Trader with Aquila Energy Marketing in Kansas City (1999-2001). Kevin worked at Western Gas Resources (1997-1999) as a Trader in their Pacific Division and served the early part of career with Pacific Gas & Electric as Energy Trading Representative, Capacity Brokering Product Manager and Associated Product Manager. He worked as a Natural Gas Plant Operator for California Oilfield Operators (1984-1986). Kevin received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Fresno in 1989, and became a Certified Environment Risk Manager from University of California Davis in 1992.

Marty Patterson, Vice President Commercial Operations
Marty has over 25 years of industry experience in the marketing and trading business including, Contracts Administration, Operational Risk, P&L, Confirmations, Supply, Scheduling, Operational Accounting/Settlements, Cash Management, Systems Support, Compliance Reporting and Customer Relations.Prior to joining Foothills, Marty was the Director of Commercial Operations (Commercial Business Unit) with Cinergy Corp. Before that, he was the Senior VP Energy Services, IDACORP Energy (1997-2003), and the Vice-President and Manager of Marketing Operations for Cabot Oil & Gas Marketing in Houston (1994-1997). Marty was the Manager of Marketing Services for Washington Energy Marketing in Seattle (1993-1994) and he began his career as a Gas Coordinator, North America (Gas Plant Division) with Sun Gas Company/Oryx Energy in Dallas (1982-1993). Marty earned a BA from Le Tournaeu University and studied Petroleum Technology at Kilgore College.  Marty is currenlty a NAESB board member.
